Anna Elzer Oscarson
As a designer, I am responsible for the messages my designs convey. I want to create carefully crafted, beautiful things, worth keeping for a lifetime.
Anna Elzer Oscarson, was born in 1970, raised in Gothenburg, where she is still located today. She holds a master's degree in Design at HDK / Gothenburg University and has received a number of awards, including Design S, Elle Deco Design Award and Swedish Design Award by RUM. Her work is represented at Nordiska Museet (the Nordic Museum) and the Röhsska Museum of Design and Craft.
”The things surrounding us affect and move us, whatever they may be. The faster the world spins, the greater becomes our need for enriching and inspiring environments; calm places where we can find strength to meet the world outside.”
Anna’s work include both pattern- and product design. For the past 10 years, she has created ceramics under her own brand, in close collaboration with the Porcelain factory in Lidköping, resulting in the collections Dusty Diamonds and Dancing Dune. For Swedese, she has recently designed the vase ANNA, inspired by nature's transience, the poetry of Karin Boye and a desire to visualize spring's first signs of new life.
