Caryngo easychair
Design of Yngve EkströmCaryngo was a rare collaboration between Carl Malmsten and Yngve Ekström, two of the biggest names in Swedish furniture design. It came in 1955 and Malmsten was responsible for the basic design while Ekström was responsible for the detail work, and the first versions went under the name "Model Yngve". The chair was then named Caryngo, which can be derived from an merge of the designers' names, Carl and Yngve. A unique piece of furniture in all its thoughtful simplicity, with a rich history and strong identity. Caryngo is manufactured in solid oak, which can be obtained in oiled, white pigmented and black lazur finish. The armchair is upholstered with saddle leather from Tärnsjö.
